Glenwood Dance



Vision – To give girls from the Glenwood neighborhood and surrounding communities a safe and uplifting place to express themselves through the medium of dance.  To teach the healing love of Jesus Christ in a nonthreatening way, allowing the girls to be open and honest while guiding them to Jesus.
 
This ministry is offered to all girls, ages K - 12th, whether you live in Glenwood or not. We have a limited number of open spaces (3 per class) due to small class sizes.
 
K - 7th meet on Mondays from 6:00 - 7:00 (Classes divided by grades)
8th - 12th meet on Thursdays from 6:00 - 8:00. (Class times consists of devotion, snack, and dance in a very laid back atmosphere.)
 
Ways adults can be involved:
 
·         Sponsor a dancer for $25 (We’ll provide you a card with a picture and information about one of the girls This will cover clothing expenses and snacks for half the year.) Sponsorships go directly to Glenwood Dance.  Grace Community Church will not be able to accept sponsorships.  Please email Suzanne Mathis for more information regarding giving.
·         Seamstresses to sew Ballet Dresses for the 8th-12th grade class
·         Provide rides home on Mondays to Girls living in Glenwood
·         Christmas Banquet and Spring Recital stage hands
