Our Vision

At Glenwood Tutoring, we use the power of positive relationships to Educate, Encourage, and Equip Glenwood Youth, in order to transform their futures.
We strive to accomplish this by:
1.       Education – we want every child in our program to graduate high school and go to college.
2.       Spiritual growth – we want every child to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
3.       Family growth – we want every family connected to a local church where they are growing spiritually and as a family.

At the core of all we do is establishing relationships. Our program is unique in that we seek one-to-one tutoring so that the child might develop a relationship with a positive, encouraging adult as they work on academics.

 

 

Current Meeting Times :

Mondays – 4:30pm-6:30pm

Tuesday – 4:30pm-6:30pm

Wednesday – 4:30-6:30pm (Spring 2010)

 

Ways To Be Involved:

1.       Drive the Tutoring bus or van once a week

2.       TUTOR once or twice a week

3.       Provided nutritious snacks once a month

4.       Volunteer in the office

5.       Room Mom/Dad provide oversight to a room of tutors and students

6.       Call us with your gifts and ask us how you fit!
